Ladytron Return with Velocifero

Ladytron seem to be reaching darker and darker territory as they following up the Witching Hour after 3 years. The new one is out on June 3rd, titled Velocifero or “bringer of speed”. Its produced by the band and surprisingly also with Vicarious Bliss (Ed Banger Records) plus Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails). I can tell you I’m not feeling the first single “Black Cat” as Mira Aroyo chugs along in her native Bulgarian. Yeah its a snoozefest, let’s hope the rest of the album doesn’t sound like it. Give me some Light & Magic!

At this point I’m more excited that awesome art collective Assume Vivid Astro Focus worked on the cover for Ladytron’s new album.
