THE TWILIGHT SAD

THE TWILIGHT SAD sets “dramatic tales of adolescence to epic compositions that move from quiet accordion intros to blistering white noise climaxes.” [Pitchfork]

[MP3]: The Twilight Sad  ”And She Would Darken The Memory”

THE BIG SLEEP

“Brooklyn band THE BIG SLEEP has earned a reputation as a face-melting hard-rock act, but that’s not the whole story. Menacing bass lines, riveting feedback and searing guitar sequences make up the trio’s basic vocabulary…the group tempers its sludgy tendencies with shoegaze-style effects and psych adventures.” [Time Out NY]

[MP3]: The Big Sleep  ”You Can’t Touch The Untouchable”

OTHER PASSENGERS

OTHER PASSENGERS craft dark, sexy songs that could be the perfect soundtrack for a psychological and disturbed…the tension built by the lead singer’s hallucinated vocals match the one created by the noisy and trippy guitars – two of them, showcasing a huge variety of styles, from walls of white noise to simple arpeggios, from dissonance and sound effects to complex textures.” [The Deli Magazine]

[MP3]: Other Passengers  ”Sick Sick”
