Cassettes Won’t Listen released a remix of The Diggs “Everyone’s Starting Over” earlier this week, one of my favorite tracks off The Diggs debut, Commute. Cassettes Won’t Listen also launched a new website.

Viva Voce and Silversun Pickups announced a co-headline fall tour with back to back nights at The Mercury Lounge on October 11th and 12. Viva Voce is readying for the release of their third full-length, Get Yr Blood Sucked Out, out in the U.S. on September 12th. The first single from the album, “When Planets Collide”, can be downloaded below.

Annuals have also announced a fall tour including dates with Art Brut and Tapes ‘N Tapes. They’ll be in New York City on September 14th, headlining the FRICTION show with Takka Takka and Femme Generation. The rest of the tour involves two support dates for Art Brut at Irving Plaza on October 19th and The Starlight Ballroom in Philly on October 20th. The band will then support Tapes ‘N Tapes on the southern leg of their tour through October. The six-piece was also recently featured as Spin’s band of the day and their Ace Fu artist page is up. Takka Takka have announced fall dates supporting Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Architecture in Helsinki for their national tour! Before then, you can catch them at The Mercury Lounge on August 11th; Union Hall on August 17th celebrating the release of their debut, We Feel Safer at Night; and Sin-e on September 14th for FRICTION.
